HOTEL/TOUR RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
To confirm a reservation a deposit of 20% of the total value of the holiday will be required. Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to departure date. Travel documents will be forwarded to you 3 weeks before departure.

METHODS OF PAYMENT 
Cash, Bank Drafts, Building Society cheques. Payment by personal cheques - please allow 10 – 14 days clearance. Credit Cards (Master card/Visa card) - incurs a surcharge of 2% and Debit cards - no surcharge.

CANCELLATION
Cancellation by you: Any cancellation by the client must be advised to the company in writing. The following will be payable by the client.
Date of deposit to 43 days before departure - 50% of the deposit paid
42 – 29 days prior to departure - 30% of the full holiday price
28 – 15 days prior to departure - 50% of the full holiday price
14 – 01 days prior to departure - 75% of the full holiday price
Departure date or after - 100% of the full holiday price

Alteration by you: All requests for alterations to confirmed bookings must be made in writing. An amendment fee of £20 per person per alteration will be charged. Higher charges will apply if documents have already been sent.
Increase of taxes by Airline: In view of the fluctuation of oil prices and the ongoing security arrangements at the airports, Airline may increase taxes after your deposit has been paid. In these situations we will have no option but to charge the additional taxes from you.
Alteration of travel arrangements whilst abroad: No credit or refund is possible for any unused service included in the cost of the holiday. If you decide to alter your arrangements whilst abroad, SRI LANKA HOLIDAYS accepts no responsibility for any extra cost that may arise or any difficulties that may occur as a result of your alteration abroad.

CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE
Our brochure is issued as the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit airlines mentioned therein or any airlines whose services are used in the course of tours. The responsibility of the IATA airlines in conjunction with the tours in our brochure is limited to the carriage of passengers and their baggage in accordance with the conditions of carriage of the participating airlines.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT:

  • Any passports, visa, health certificates, international drivers’ licenses or other travel documentation required for the holiday must be obtained by the client, whose responsibility it remains to ensure that these are all in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.
  • No credit refund is possible for any unused services included in the basic holiday price for any lost, mislaid or destroyed travel documents.
  • The client is responsible for checking in at the correct time. SRI LANKA HOLIDAYS cannot be responsible for clients missing flights as a result of late check-ins.
  • You are strongly advised to insure against cancellation charges, medical expenses, personal accident or personal liability, loss of baggage or money, travel delay etc.
CONSUMER PROTECTION:
The air holidays & flights in our brochure are ATOL protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s license granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 4072. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
